DS-4000HI (CIF) compression cards are a professional digital security product, which adapts to the most advanced H.264 video compression algorithm and Ogg Vorbis audio compression technology. Compared with a DS-400xM card, its compression rate is improved by nearly more than 30% on the premise of equal video quality. Ogg Vorbis audio compression technology makes the sound quality smoother and clearer. The Newly designed PCB of the card is more compact, steady and compatible. SDK interface makes development faster and easier.
DS-4000HI card uses fully optimized algorithm based on DSP technology. To display video and audio in real-time, active video and audio preview and motion detection. Video image is directly transmitted from the card to the display frame buffer and the compression stream data is also directly sent to the host's memory. The whole transmission doesn't need any intervention of host computer processor, greatly saving resources of the host computers processor. One Personal computer can support up to 24 channels of audioand video input. The parameters of each channel can be set independently and will not affect each other. In addition, this card provides a characteristic profile in order to simplify developing and testing procedures. Therefore meeting different application demands widening the market for the product. This card also incorporates with Hikvision's DS-4004D decoder card to output active video to analogue monitors, thus providing the whole solution for network digital security.
The DS-4000HI compression cards supports WindowsNT/2000/XP and Linux operating system. HIKVISION provides a demonstration application with its source code, the whole SDK development package including board SDK software, player SDK, networks SDK and media Player plugging.
